women into golf was established by Kay Mahlook in 1997. It aims to provide women who work with opportunities, skills and the confidence to play golf - at leisure or work.

A low handicap golfer with a background in teaching and sports administration, Kay provides golf knowledge and a practical, straight-forward approach which makes women into golf very user-friendly.

She worked in golf administration for many years conducting golf activities for women and girls. In 1992 she was named as the Victorian Sports Administrator of the Year.

Kay realises there are many women who wish to play golf, but can't find a way in. They might have had their six lessons but where to next?  women into golf provides the pathway and the destination.

Who plays with women into golf?

• Raw beginners to competent players;

• Ages range from late twenties to the sixties;

• A wide variety of occupations are represented;

• Usually between 12 and 20 women play in each competition;

• Players who remember where they came from in golf and are very encouraging to new players.

• 12 months membership costs $125 and will give you a discount on all activities.

• Some join women into golf as members, but others prefer to be casual users.

• In any case your first game with women into golf will be at the members' price.

• If you just want to stay on the mailing list and play casually, you can take out a Supporter Membership at just $55
